So what is THE CREW and why did we start it? Bare with me, I’m a talker and of course I have a story 😉
Over the past 12 years, I’ve photographed newborns, kids, seniors, families, weddings…let’s just say I’ve done it all! After having my own family, I’ve had to put a few things into perspective. I also know now that I can’t do it all. I’ve slowed down on weddings to spend more time with my kids on the weekends. Last year, I chose to take a limited amount of senior sessions (trust me 100 senior sessions for 1 photographer is too many) Now that we only take 50 seniors a year, we can be more attentive to our senior clients and their portrait experience. After all, that’s what we want each session at our studio to be about. We want to cater to our Unforgettable Family and make sure we are helping in every way we can.
Now, I’ve been focusing on my favorite sessions – newborns and kids! The families who choose to be in our newborn plans have the ease of knowing when to come in and what they will receive at each session and at the the end of the year. But what happens after that first year?
I’m a mom, so I’ve been in your shoes. 1st year plans (heck, just the first kid!) are easy, fun and exciting to have your child’s photo taken. It’s the following year that we all start wondering what do we do next to keep up the memories of our ever changing kids? It’s hard remembering what to make for dinner or how to keep up with the extra laundry at home and now maybe you are expecting baby #2 and you still find it hard to schedule time to have your toddlers portraits taken….and then, go shopping for it all! It’s overwhelming!
From a photographers view when the baby plan ends we sometimes see the kids at 18 months, maybe at our walk-in specials, but most of the time it isn’t until their 2 years session, and around their birthday each year after that.
Don’t you agree, that at two and three is when we really start to see all the fun personalities come out in our kids? I’m thinking of my three year old now and how silly he is and his love for ninja turtles and super heroes. He wears a cape around his neck daily. I’ll admit, even I need to photograph him more often. I’d hate to forget his expressions and cuteness at this stage. And my 7 year old, She’s turning into a mini teenager. She has her own fashion sense. Wants to do her own make up (sometimes it’s good, sometimes she needs to borrow my Rodan+Fields eye cloths to remove it 😉 But she’s growing up so quickly. I personally find it hard to make time in my own schedule to photograph them.
So what’s next? When should we come in? Well, this NEW plan was created for parents who are looking for help in scheduling everything after their child’s 1 year. We’ve created options of coming in for prime times at our specials – let’s face it – those specials are crazy! We have the option for you to have a book at the end of the year showcasing it all. You want christmas cards? Valentine’s Day Cards, Custom Products or Standard packages from specials? You got it! Want us to call you first to get a prime time spot on our limited edition sessions? We can do that too! AND every kid in THE CREW gets the chance to be a Promotional Model for the kids fashion line at Vibrant Vida in Lebanon! Be a part of our marketing material and be on call to model for our specials and ads. All you need to do is review our plans below, see which is best for you and we will break it up over the course of a year and keep you on track through it all!
