It’s not too often that we get to be in on secrets like the one Jared was planning. When he called several weeks ago he wanted a gift certificate to give to his girlfriend, who had been wanting pictures together and some with their two fur babies.

He then said that he needed our help. He was going to propose but wasn’t sure how to piece his idea together. He was building a pallet wall with a hidden chalkboard inside. I had to find a way to bring her to that spot for photos. Well, everything fell perfectly into place. Our location had all kinds of various wood steps and pallets randomly sitting around, so a random pallet wall didn’t look out of place. We did several photos with their pups and a few of just the two of them. We worked our way to the special place and after hearing my ‘cue’, Jared knelt down and needless to say I think he surprised Emily! I was so excited for the two of them and I believe their photos tell the story best!

Funny thing, Emily filled me in that she was later throwing a surprise birthday for Jared! I think it turned into a surprise engagement party for all the guests!
