Maddy | Bohemian City Loft, Studio Stunners, School Spirit and Senior Year Style
Maddy’s session had it all! From casual bohemian feels in overalls to a chic dress moment with an interesting moroccan element location, she gave us everything from high fashion to hometown girl. Maddy brought beauty and personality to every look and location!
Eclectic Boho loft beginning
We started in a truly one-of-a-kind space, an eclectic, bohemian loft packed with vintage treasures, layered textures, and the kind of charm you just can’t stop talking about. The moment Maddy walked in, she fit right in.
Every setup had its own character, and every frame felt like a glimpse into a story. Whether she was lounging on an old velvet couch or perched near a stack of vintage trunks, Maddy made the space come alive.
Moroccan Moment
For her next look, Maddy changed into a soft satin dress in a delicate shade of blue. We moved into a different part of the loft: a Moroccan-style bathroom filled with rich textures and color. The floor was lined with bold, patterned tiles, while the walls ranged from warm salmon to deep indigo.
They had gorgeous large blue-tinted windows that cast a cool, dreamy light across the room, wrapping Maddy in a surreal, almost watercolor glow. The color story of this set up, with the blue satin, Moroccan tile, and sun-filtered light created an atmosphere that was otherworldly. It was bold, elegant, and creative all at once, kind of like
Maddy.
Studio Contrast
After our adventure in the loft, we returned to the studio where Maddy switched into a blue gingham set. We shot this look on both a classic white brick wall and our fun, hot pink tile backdrop. The contrast between the crisp gingham and the bold pop of color made for a bright, modern set of portraits that added a playful punch to her collection.
School Spirit
We finished with a trip to Mater Dei for Maddy’s cheer photos. While the smell of the locker room was less than ideal, the images were stunning! It’s not often cheerleaders do locker room photos, and we just love the look of the ‘cluttered’ gear, the navy lockers, and of course the scattered pom poms.
A Field & A Piano
We ended Maddy’s session with a concept we hadn’t photographed before and it quickly became one of the coolest sets we’ve done. We placed a piano in the middle of a quiet field at golden hour, and Maddy, dressed in a two-piece lace skirt set, stepped up to the keys.
Maddy is a singer and the setting reflected that side of her beautifully. The gorgeous sunset created an unforgettable close to a session we’ll never forget.
