Graydon Turns One | Cake, Denim & All the Expressions

Graydon’s one-year session was full of personality — and we loved every second of it!

We kicked things off with a colorful, dino-themed cake smash that brought all the bright, playful energy you’d hope for in a first birthday session. Like any one-year-old, Graydon had a few moments where he wasn’t totally sure about the whole situation — and honestly, those “not-so-sure” faces turned out adorable.

He gave us a full range of expressions throughout the session, from sweet little pouts to big, joyful grins. His denim jacket look was giving total cool kid vibes, and once he got a power nap in, he warmed up to the camera (and maybe a little frosting), we got some amazing smiles too.

It’s always fun capturing this age — the curiosity, the unpredictability, and the tiny glimpses of big personality starting to shine through.
