Your newborn session will be a special milestone in your baby’s life. We want to help you tell the story of your new baby and create a calm and peaceful environment during our time together.
Ideally we like to have you in for this session within the first 10 days of birth. I typically photograph your infant alone in a few poses. I will also make sure to photograph baby with siblings, as a family and last, but most importantly, Mom alone holding baby and Dad holding baby.
From all of the tiny details to the connection your family has with it’s newest addition, it is my goal to capture timeless images that will freeze this small moment in time to be cherished forever.
These sessions are ideal for babies around 3-4 months old. At this stage, many babies are strong and comfortable on their tummies, though some may need a bit more time to reach this milestone. Normally by four months, most babies are happy and enjoy spending time on their bellies.
I love this stage because it’s when we start to see genuine, happy smiles simply by talking to your baby. It’s a magical time that captures their emerging personality and joy.
These sessions are ideal for babies around 6-8 months old. At this stage, many babies can sit on their own with minimal to no help. Most children reach their strongest sitting ability by the 8-month mark. If your baby needs a bit of assistance, we will use props to help them sit comfortably.
I love this stage because it’s when we start to see big personalities and new expressions emerging. Smiles at this age often feature adorable baby teeth, adding even more charm to their joyful faces. It’s a delightful time to capture their curiosity and growing independence. Baby’s are also showing their crawling skills by this time, adding a variety of image options.
These sessions are ideal for babies around the 1-year mark. At this stage, many babies can stand either alone or with the support of a prop. This is an exciting time as they begin to show increased independence and mobility.
I love this stage because babies are on the move and their personalities really shine through. We often incorporate a fun cake smash theme into the 1st-year session, adding an element of playfulness and celebration. In the past I’ve had the pleasure of capturing a child’s first steps, which turned into an extra special moment making the session even more memorable!
